Admissions Overview

We are delighted that you have decided to embark on this journey to learn more about our community and hear our stories.

Brookes is a university preparatory school with a strong commitment to developing globally-aware, compassionate, and motivated students who will contribute to our diverse school community. We seek dynamic, open-minded, and responsible students whose desire to learn is heightened by their engagement with peers and our dedicated faculty. Students must be willing to learn from others and work hard in order to benefit from our high academic standards.

The Admissions Office is responsible for evaluating your application and considering your enrollment at Brookes.  Whenever possible, we will arrange a campus visit for prospective students. Students and their parents will tour the campus and facilities, have an interview with the Director of Admissions and, when possible, shadow a current Brookes student. When time and proximity make campus visits difficult, we will arrange for a Skype interview.

Formal Acceptance

The Admissions Office will begin reviewing a prospective student’s application upon receipt of all admissions materials and supporting documents. Applicants will be notified within 3-5 business days with the next step.

Study Permits - International Students

Students who do not possess Canadian Citizenship must apply for and obtain a valid study permit and visa (if needed) prior to arriving at the school. Upon acceptance and full payment of fees, the Admissions Office will issue a letter of acceptance and other necessary documents needed to apply for a student visa. These documents, along with the application, must be taken to the nearest Canadian Consulate or Embassy. For more information on student study permits, visit www.cic.gc.ca.
